Summer Wrap-Up

LiLi and I enjoyed a busy summer and early fall. From public events at the PNE and Storytime in the Park, to community-centered events like Farmer’s Markets and parades, the little Cube and I visited FVRL communities to share the fun with libraries! Here are some highlights from our road trips.

Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver. FVRL partnered with Interlink libraries to promote public libraries at the PNE! We enjoyed meeting people from all over the province and sharing our passion for all literacies (including music!).

Delta Gymnastics PlayDay. These youngsters had fun learning to play the ukes at the PlayDay hosted by the local Gymnastics group.

Brigade Days in Hope. LiLi joined library staff from Hope to participate in their annual Brigade Days parade in September.

RibFest in Langley. The first annual RibFest in Langley allowed LiLi and library staff from Muriel Arnason library introduced the FVRL “Things” to the community. The ukulele and Sphero robot caught the eye of several passerby’s.
