Welcome Spring!

April was a busy month for the Fraser Valley Regional Library! From celebrating Earth Day, wrapping up the Teen Imagine Contest and launching telescopes for borrowing.

LiLi and I joined Earth Day festivities with the Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge libraries. We enjoyed outdoor storytimes about bugs and flowers, then learned about bees while sharing the FVRL contest.

In Chilliwack, LiLi pulled up to a secondary school and met with teachers during a school district professional day. We displayed our brand new telescopes which YOU can now borrow from the library – just like the ukuleles and Spheros! A few teachers also got brand new library cards.

We look forward to May and sunshine while we participate in May Day parades across the FVRL region!
